How it works
No paper tickets and no queues at a ticket desk. Your pass lives in the City Pass app.
Buy online
Pick how many passes you need, add a name to each if you like, and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Up to 10 passes in one booking.
Open the app
Your booking email arrives straight away with a link to the City Pass app. Sign in with the email you booked with and type the code we send you. Every pass on the booking appears.
Show your pass
At each place, show your pass. Staff scan the code or swipe your pass in the app, and you're in.
Your day
Your pass isn't tied to a date. Buy it whenever you like: your day starts the first time you check in anywhere, and every included place is open to you until midnight that day.
Each place is included once. You don't have to visit them all, and you can visit them in any order. Our guides suggest routes that keep the walking short.
Places that need booking
A few places only take timed bookings, such as the Fitzwilliam's exhibitions and Cambridge United matches. For these, the app gives you a personal code: book on the venue's own website, enter the code at checkout and the ticket is free. When you arrive, check in from the app.
In the app
- Your passes, with a code staff can scan
- Every included place, with opening info and what's included
- A map with walking routes, including one built from your favourites
- How much you've saved so far
- Easter eggs: little-known Cambridge stories that pop up as you walk past them
Location
The app asks to use your location while it's open. It uses it to confirm you're at a venue when you check in and to tell you about Easter eggs nearby. See our privacy policy.
